LSE recently finished working with the YMCA on an innovative urban Y on a very challenging urban site. This 50,000 sq ft building is centered around a multipurpose flexible space called “Big Flex” which occurs on the second floor above the locker rooms. The building fronts University Avenue and Dickerman Park with extensive curtain wall glass which allows dynamic views into the fitness and cardio as well as main level studio spaces. The main floor has multiple entrances with a welcoming community realm.
