While maintaining the classic brick schoolhouse aesthetic, Hassan Elementary is also on the cutting edge of environmental design with a 50% energy savings as compared to the same building built to code. Design features create a civic heart to the community with the formal plaza and clock-tower.

The project was designed and constructed in 16 months, and houses 750 students in grade clusters from grades K-5. The building core was designed for future expansion to 1000 students. Materials include terrazzo flooring and a Garland roof.
