Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre

Opened in June, 2008, this venue is located in Alpharetta, Georgia and is the summer home of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The 12,500 seat venue (7,000 covered reserves seats and 5,500 lawn seats) was constructed in 12 months for a budget of approximately $18,500,000 including site work which was within 4% of the original budget. The venue is unique in that being the summer home for the orchestra, the venue is designed to support not only national contemporary music tours but also symphonic and orchestral performances and all that is needed to support both major activities; back-of-house and performance support facilities, seating bowl criteria, blended operations to name a few of the unique aspects of the facility.
