LSE Architects provided architectural services on the new Minnesota Multi-Purpose Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings, in association with HKS Architects. LSE Architects was responsible for overseeing the construction phase of the project on behalf of HKS and in conjunction with Mortenson Construction. Our on-site team lead the coordination effort of project documentation, contractor requests, field reports and contractor payment application reviews. This work involved daily coordination with the project consulting team, the general contractor and the owner. LSE Architects provided a review of the project construction to ensure that the build work was in compliance with the design and contract documents.
The multi-purpose stadium is designed to serve Vikings football games as well as year-round activities, including baseball, soccer, basketball, hockey, community events, concerts, and special events. The stadium became open to the public in August.
